Work Party
On Saturday, October 25th, at 10.00 am. there will be a work party to prepare the top floor for use by the Knit and Natter group.
24 Hours of Prayer
Our second “24 hours of Prayer” will be from 6.00 pm on Friday 24th October to 6.00 pm on Saturday 26th October. The elders want to encourage everyone to be involved in this 24 hours of Prayer for the work and witness of the Church. Please sign up on the list on the church notice board for a time that you could cover with prayer. Details about the 24 hours of Prayer are available in the Church.

Gift Sunday
On Sunday November 2nd all giving to the work of the Church will be devoted to the purchase of 20 new chairs for the worship area and a laptop and projector for use in the services.
“Bring a shoebox” Family Service
Sunday 9th November at 10.30 am
Bring a shoebox to the Sunday family morning service to help a deprived child in Eastern Europe or Africa. Visit the Samaritan's Purse website to find out more.
Christmas (is coming!)
Christmas Crafts - Saturday November 29th 5.00 - 7.00 pm.
Barton Christmas Festival takes place this weekend. As part of the Festival, the Church will be open for coffee, mince-pies and for making Christmas Crafts. Look out for the advert in the next edition of the Bartonian. Pray for children and families to come along. If you would like to help with the crafts please contact Jim and Liz.
There will also be the usual Coffee Morning between 10.00 am and 12 noon.
